The Montessori School of Greenville follows the comprehensive learning approach known as the Montessori Method. We are an affiliate member of the American Montessori Society and retain membership in the North American Montessori Teachers' Association and the International Montessori Council. All of our classrooms are led by certified Montessori teachers.

Founded in 1970, we are the oldest Montessori school in the Upstate and have been educating students in a safe, appealing, hands-on learning environment for over 35 years. Our proud tradition is rooted in the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori which honors the uniqueness of each child while fostering a sense of independence and self-reliance as well as respect for self and others.
