How Parents Can Help
At the Montessori School of Greenville we encourage and support parent involvement throughout the child's educational experience. Parents are invited to share their cultural heritage, hobbies, and vocations with the students.
In addition to various class and school-wide programs, there are Parent Information Nights, and parents and teachers meet twice a year for individual conferences to discuss the development of your child. Parents are also invited to attend our in-house field trips.
The school sponsors fundraisers and "friend-raisers," opportunities for parents to meet and get to know each other, sometimes in the context of raising money for our Special Student Foundation scholarships, other times just for good conversation.
Parents may contact their child's teacher at any time to offer assistance in the classrooms, or to discuss particular questions or concerns they may have. We pride ourselves in open communication with our parents and aim to become a resource and partner in your child's development.
We look forward to your participation!
"I really enjoyed coming in and watching my daughter show me her work. I was very proud of the work she is doing and am so very happy that she's getting such a great education. Thank you for being there to teach my children!" -Parent of a 3rd-year Primary child
